TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA - Polisi yang fenomenal karena video tarian dan lagu India, Briptu Norman Kamaru, dibawa anggota Provost Mabes Polri dari lokasi shooting sebuah studio televisi swasta di Jakarta, Kamis (7/7/2011) malam.

Mabes Polri harus turun tangan mengingat keberadaan anggota Brimob Polda Gorontalo itu belum izin kepada atasannya. Mabes Polri membantah bahwa Birptu Norman yang saat ini telah dipulangkan ke Gorontalo, sempat dilakukan pemeriksaan secara intensif.

"Bukan diperiksa, tapi diminta klarifikasi saja apakah dia (Norman) sudah mendapatkan izin atau belum," ujar Kepala Pusat Pengamanan Internal Mabes Polri, Brigjen Pol Budi Waseso saat dihubungi wartawan pada Kamis (7/7/2011) malam.

Mabes Polri mengakui bahwa keberadaan Briptu Norman di Jakarta malam tadi dalam masa cuti. Namun, Mabes Polri tetap harus mengecek, apakah yang bersangkutan telah mendapat izin atas aktivitasnya di luar dinas tersebut.

"Namanya cuti ya bisa saja, meski cuti dinas sudah ada ijin tertulis belum, kalaupun izin secara lisan juga enggak apa-apa juga," ujarnya.

Sebagaimana Tribunnews.com beritakan, sebelum tampil di studio Trans7, Briptu Norman sempat tampil di acara musik anak muda, Dasyat.
