Dikatakan, gejala tersebut timbul karena kanker menyebabkan penyumbatan parsial pada aliran air kemih melalui uretra.
"Kanker prostat bisa menyebabkan air kemih berwarna merah karena mengandung darah atau menyebabkan terjadinya terjadinya penahanan air kemih mendadak," ucapnya.
Berikut ini gejala yang sering ditemui pada penderita kanker prostat :
- Sering ingin buang air kecil, terutama pada malam hari.
- Kesulitan untuk mulai buang air kecil atau menahan air seni.
- Aliran air seni lemah atau terganggu
- Perasaan nyeri atau terbakat saat buang air kecil.
- Adanya darah pada air seni atau air mani.
- Gangguan seksual la seperti sulit ereksi atau nyeri saat ejakulasi.
- Sering nyeri atau kaku pada punggung bawah, pinggul dan paha atas.
