Setelah sempat bungkam dalam acara ijab kabul pernikahannya, mantan artis cilik Puput Melati akhirnya mau muncul di depan kamera bersama sang suami, Ustad Guntur Bumi atau lebih akrab disapa Ustad Cilik. Kemunculan keduanya ini sekaligus menjawab pertanyaan mengenai rumor keduanya yang menikah secara mendadak tersebut.

"Bismillah, assalamualaikum. Saya perkenalkan ini ibunda saya (bu ustad) Ibu Hj. Aisyah Warsinah. Lalu ini beliau istri saya, Alfiah Putri Melati Al Kutubi, saya pribadi Guntur Bumi. Alhamdulillah kemaren acaranya mohon maaf sekali kepada media bukannya tidak boleh meliput," ujar Ustad Cilik kepada wartawan di depan kediamannya di Jalan Kesehatan 3, Bintaro, Jakarta Selatan, Senin (28/06).

Selain itu pernikahan keduanya dilakukan berdasarkan amanat dari Abah angkat Ustad Cilik yaitu Habib Husein bin Ali Alatas, yang belum lama meninggal.

"Beliau ini panglimanya para habib Asia Tenggara bahkan Timur Tengah. Sebelum meninggal, beliau ini mengamanahkan dan memang merencanakan tanggal 27 Juni 2011 itu untuk melangsungkan ijab kabul secara KUA. Jadi ternyata beliau sudah wafat, namun amanat tersebut memang harus dilaksanakan," ujar Ustad Cilik.

Pernikahan yang dilakukan oleh Ustad Cilik dengan Puput Melati ini terbilang mengejutkan. Sebab Puput baru bercerai dari suaminya Hadi Wibowo di Pengadilan Agama Tangerang, Banten belum lama ini. Dari pernikahan tersebut, Puput dikaruniai seorang anak. Namun diakui oleh Ustad Cilik, jika pernikahan mereka bisa terjadi karena ada saling kecocokan satu sama lain.
