"13 Juni 2011 sekitar pukul 3:30 sore, terjadi tabrakan mobil yang mana mengakibatkan kerusakan kendaraan dengan cukup parah di lokasi syuting CITY HUNTER di dekat danau Ilsan. Beruntung Lee Min Ho tidak mengalami cidera berarti meski bagian depan mobil menabrak dengan keras dan air bags terbuka," ucap salah seorang perwakilan dari aktor tersebut.
Selain itu gambar-gambar yang memperlihatkan seberapa parah kecelakaan tersebut juga diupload. Dari foto tersebut bagian depan mobil yang ditumpangi Lee Min Ho terlihat benar-benar hancur.
Diberitakan juga setelah kejadian tersebut Lee Min Ho cepat-cepat dilarikan ke rumah sakit. Selain itu seorang staf yang turut terlibat kecelakaan juga dirawat di rumah sakit,
"Setelah kecelakaan, Lee Min Ho dibawa ke rumah sakit dan pulang ke rumah pada pukul 6 sore, ia sempat menjalani test apakah menderita cedera parah. Syuting drama ini distop secara total dan menunggu perkembangan selanjutnya kapan bakal kembali dilanjutkan," tutur perwakilan tersebut.
